About the Hytera LTE Radio
If you think the Hytera PNC550 is like a smart phone then you would be right! But it's also a fully professional push-to-talk over cellular ( PoC ) handset so what's not to like? - Here you will see a in this closeup a short overview of this LTE radio and of course our own opinion based on what we think .
PNC550 Radios
Triple Benefits? or are they?
The PNC550 is a smart PoC terminal that integrates a smartphone and professional push-to-talk functionality in mobile. Hytera PNC550 is equipped with Android 8.1 operating system, 5 inch multi-touch screen, HD camera and 2W hi-fi speaker. It meets the basic requirements of voice intercom for industry users, but also meets the requirements of multimedia use. The PNC550 is compatible with various PoC solution platforms on the market and can be customized to meet individual customer needs.
Massive Features AND Range
There's a 5 inch display in high resolution thet is easy to see whether it's dark or broad daylight.
The PNC550 is water resistant and even when working outdoors that's not going to be any issue when the surroundings include water.
The audio is good and has technology right on the unit that identifies a voice and then attenuates background noise, but the audio is, importantly, up to 2w output!
The battery is a large capacity for extended use and the chargr is a fast charging unit.
High quality 13mp camera on the handset.
This handset includes a dual sim ability as well as a dual standby mode.
NFC Functionality.
Better (claimed) security than on most other handsets.
Firmware upgardable.
Complete PoC solution.
Features include:
- Multi-touch display
- Professional design and very compact
- Emergency button on one side of the unit
- IP68 and MIL-STD-810-G compliant
- 1.2m drop resistant design - its a rugged radio
- Supports 2G/3G/4G/WIFI with extensive communications ability
- The NFC functions like regular smart phones
- Charging by 2A fast charge, desktop charger, USB or multichargers
- Open API and SDK allow for third party apps
Overall sadly in the case of the PNC550
we would really recommend the PNC380 handset that is an entirely
different product and more in line with what we (and generally
customers) might find encompasses a far better platform with a
more conformist approach to what we feel makes good LTE PoC
radios.
