Surprisingly, although LRS UK is known for paging systems for on-site communications, we have always been involved in a number of other sectors of business going back as far as 1989. All of our specialised services have been very long term business so when you contact any of the employees involved in those sectors, you are speaking with experts that can help your business save on costs.

In the case of logistics... for example we recently supplied a very large company - the DCS Group of Banbury and their IT director had this to say:

"The LRS system has allowed us to free up staff from the chore of constantly driving up and down the road to find the right driver and direct them to the right bay. Since we’ve adopted it drivers are assigned a buzzer and given advance instructions on where to park and which door to go to when the buzzer rings. All the staff have to do is press a button to call the driver in. This has made the whole operation much more efficient reducing the time taken from a lorry freeing a loading bay and another lorry taking its place. It also means we have more staff picking, loading and unloading rather than going around the site trying to find the right driver. It’s good for the drivers as well because they can relax and use the facilities safe in the knowledge they won’t miss their slot. We’ve gotten so used to it we wonder how we ever managed without it!"
